Alzheimer's Disease

Alzheimer's Disease, the most common dementia, is a progressive, degenerative disease of the brain that impairs memory, thinking, emotions and behavior. The disease is incurable.

As the disease progresses, it affects all aspects of a person's life, including thoughts, feelings and behaviours. However, it affects each person differently, and so it is difficult to predict which symptoms a person will have, the order in which they will appear, or the speed with which they will progress.
